I have been working as a doula for the past year and a half, and in my opinion the privilege to do this work is all mine. I witnessed my first birth when I was 14 years old, and knew from that moment the direction my life passions would take me. Today I am a student at Johns Hopkins working to become a nurse midwife, and women's nurse practitioner.
I am an outdoor gal, and enjoy spending as much time with friends and family as possible. My goal as a doula is to give women the support, safety, comfort, education, and encouragement that they need for their birth. I believe every woman has the capacity and strength to have a natural vaginal birth, but also support other options so long as they are the desires of the woman.
I look forward to learning, sharing, and being a part of the most beautiful experience that unites all humankind; birth!
