Holistic Pregnancy & Postpartum Support
My education consists of a Christian high school education, a Bachelor's Degree in Religious Education from a Theological College, certification of Early Childhood Development from Columbus State Community College and work in Child/Adolescent Psychology from Ohio University.
I believe in being a holistic Doula because I believe childbirth can be peaceful, empowering, and that every woman should feel satisfied with her birth experience. I understand that birth is a healthy and natural physiological process, which our bodies were made to do. However, sometimes having a knowledgeable coach to help you confidently and comfortably adjust to your new role is vital to yours and your child's future development.
As your doula, I will offer balanced physical, mental, emotional and spiritual support to you and your family and provide an unconditional touch of loving care that is needed for a peaceful and joyful reception of new life! I will provide comfort measures, listen to your birth preferences and help you advocate for yourself in labor. I will help connect you with evidence-based information, and give non-judgmental support throughout your pregnancy and postpartum.
