For my first 10 years in birth work, I served the women of Metro New Orleans area as a birth doula and educator. Now that my husband and I have relocated, I have joyfully served the women of Middle Tennessee for nearly as many years. My emphasis is on educating my clients well so that they may confidently make informed choices throughout their pregnancy and birth. The training I received in becoming certified as a Childbirth Educator and Birth Doula, along with plenty of ongoing education and experience, provides the foundation. I count it a blessing each and every time that a woman allows me to be a part of her birth. I offer Childbirth Preparation classes in group settings, private in-home sessions, and the new EBB Childbirth Class with both online & in-person sessions. Heidi Duncan is a Certified Birth Doula who has served birthing families since 2001. A resident of the countryside north of Nashville, she has attended more than 200 births during her years living in Middle TN. She also provides Evidence Based Birth® classes to parents and professionals alike and is an Authorized Peanut Ball Trainer.
